The patron saint festivities of La Mata will take place from September 12 to October 7, featuring a pilgrimage, children's activities, a mock San Fermín bull run for kids, a paella contest, open-air parties, a multicolor parade, religious events, and activities for the whole family. Highlights include the pilgrimage to Eduardo Gil Rebollo Park, the flower offering, the Multicolor Parade, open-air dances, the Solemn Mass, and the procession of the Virgen del Rosario. Festival program: Saturday, September 12 12:00: “Surriagaso”, official kickoff of the festivities. Brass band, DJ, water games, and entertainment. Sunday, September 13 09:30: Departure of the pilgrimage from the parish church. 11:00: Outdoor mass at Eduardo Gil Rebollo Park. 17:00: Return of the pilgrimage to the parish church. Friday, September 18 21:00: “Nuestros Jóvenes Mayores” community gathering. Saturday, September 19 11:30: Children's San Fermín running of the bulls.
