Photojournalist Santi Palacios presents the photography exhibition “La Laponia española. El triángulo del frío”, a showcase that introduces the public to one of Spain's most distinctive regions. The exhibition will be on view from 18 September to 18 October 2026 at the Glorieta Gabriel Miró in Orihuela. The display gathers a selection of photographs captured by Santi Palacios in the area known as the “triangle of cold”, a region spanning the provinces of Teruel, Guadalajara, and Cuenca noted for its freezing temperatures, dramatic landscapes, and the resilient lifestyles of its residents. Through these images, the photojournalist offers an intimate perspective on this territory and its inhabitants, highlighting the connection between climate conditions, the landscape, and everyday life. His photographs document an environment shaped by extreme cold while shining a light on the stories and experiences of those who call it home.
