The patron saint festivities of La Mata will take place from September 12 to October 7, featuring a pilgrimage, children's activities, a children's running of the bulls, a paella contest, open-air dances, a multicolor parade, religious events, and activities for the whole family. Highlights include the pilgrimage to Parque Eduardo Gil Rebollo, the children's San Fermín bull run, the paella competition, the flower offering, the Multicolor Parade, traditional open-air dances, High Mass, and the procession of the Virgen del Rosario. Running from September 12 to October 7, 2026, the festivities blend tradition, religious services, music, gastronomy, children's entertainment, and community gatherings. Festival Programme: Saturday, September 12: 12:00 PM: "Surriagaso", the official kick-off of the festivities. Brass band (charanga), DJ, water parties, and entertainment. Sunday, September 13: 09:30 AM: Departure of the pilgrimage from the parish church. 11:00 AM: Open-air Mass at Parque Eduardo Gil Rebollo. 05:00 PM: Return of the pilgrimage to the parish church. Friday, September 18: 09:00 PM: Community gathering "Nuestros Jóvenes Mayores".
