The patron saint festivities of La Mata will take place from 12 September to 7 October, featuring a pilgrimage, children's activities, a mock running of the bulls, a paella competition, street parties, a multicolour parade, religious ceremonies, and events for the whole family. Highlights include the pilgrimage to Eduardo Gil Rebollo Park, the children's running of the bulls, the floral offering, the solemn mass, and the procession of the Virgen del Rosario. Festival Programme: Saturday, 12 September: 12:00: "Surriagaso", the official kick-off of the festivities, with brass band music, DJ, water parties, and entertainment. Sunday, 13 September: 09:30: Departure of the pilgrimage from the parish church. 11:00: Open-air mass in Eduardo Gil Rebollo Park. 17:00: Return of the pilgrimage to the parish church. Friday, 18 September: 21:00: Community gathering "Our Young Elders".
