The patron saint festivities of La Mata will take place from September 12 to October 7, featuring a pilgrimage, children's activities, a San Fermín running of the bulls for kids, a paella contest, street parties, a multi-coloured parade, religious services, and events for the whole family. Highlights include the pilgrimage to Eduardo Gil Rebollo Park, the children's San Fermín event, the paella competition, the floral offering, the Multi-coloured Parade, open-air dances, the Solemn Mass, and the procession of the Virgen del Rosario. The patron saint festivities combine tradition, religious ceremonies, music, gastronomy, children's activities, and community gatherings. Festival Programme Saturday, September 12 12:00: "Surriagaso", the official kick-off to the festivities. Brass band (charanga), DJ, water games, and entertainment. Sunday, September 13 09:30: Departure of the pilgrimage from the parish church. 11:00: Open-air field Mass at Eduardo Gil Rebollo Park. 17:00: Return of the pilgrimage to the parish church. Friday, September 18 21:00: Community social evening "Our Young Elders".
