La Mata Fiestas 2026 in Honour of the Virgen del Rosario

The patron saint festivities of La Mata will take place from September 12 to October 7, featuring a pilgrimage, children's activities, a San Fermín running of the bulls, a paella contest, open-air dances, a multicoloured parade, religious events, and activities for the whole family. Highlights include the pilgrimage to Eduardo Gil Rebollo Park, the children's San Fermín bull run, the paella competition, the floral offering, the Multicolor Parade, popular open-air parties, the High Mass, and the procession of the Virgen del Rosario. The Patron Saint Festivities of La Mata in honour of the Virgen del Rosario combine tradition, religious ceremonies, music, gastronomy, children's entertainment, and community gatherings. Festival Programme: Saturday, September 12 12:00: "Surriagaso", the official kickoff of the festivities. Brass band, DJ, water games, and entertainment activities. Sunday, September 13 09:30: Departure of the pilgrimage from the parish church. 11:00: Field mass at Eduardo Gil Rebollo Park. 17:00: Return of the pilgrimage to the parish church. Friday, September 18 21:00: Gathering day "Our Young Seniors".
