Sala Mengolero in Rojales presents “Las cápsulas del tiempo” by Gonzalo de Amarante Costa. The exhibition is open from October 3 to 27, 2026, at Cuevas del Rodeo, with an opening reception on Saturday, October 3, at 7:30 p.m. Artist Gonzalo de Amarante Costa presents his new painting exhibition in Rojales, titled “Las cápsulas del tiempo”. The showcase will be hosted in Sala Mengolero at Cuevas del Rodeo, one of the most distinctive cultural spaces in Vega Baja. The project invites reflection on memory, the passage of time, and how images can preserve experiences, emotions, and fragments of an era. The visual language blends a contemporary perspective with the painterly sensitivity characteristic of the artist's work. Gonzalo de Amarante Costa creates series of watercolors and washes on paper and cardboard. His recent work in Rojales includes the exhibition “50 Acuarelas” at Sala Mengolero, and he now returns to Cuevas del Rodeo with a collection focused on the bond between art, memory, and time.
