Sala Mengolero in Rojales presents “Las cápsulas del tiempo” by Gonzalo de Amarante Costa. The exhibition can be visited from 3 to 27 October 2026 at the Cuevas del Rodeo, with an opening reception on Saturday 3 October at 19:30. Artist Gonzalo de Amarante Costa presents his new painting exhibition, “Las cápsulas del tiempo”, in Rojales. The showcase will be on display at Sala Mengolero in the Cuevas del Rodeo, one of the most distinctive cultural venues in the Vega Baja. The project invites reflection on memory, the passage of time, and how images can preserve experiences, emotions, and fragments of an era. The exhibition's visual language combines a contemporary perspective with the painterly sensitivity characteristic of the artist's work. Gonzalo de Amarante Costa creates series of watercolours and wash drawings on paper and cardboard. His recent work in Rojales includes the exhibition “50 Acuarelas” at Sala Mengolero, and he now returns to the Cuevas del Rodeo with a collection focused on the relationship between art, memory, and time.
