Photojournalist Santi Palacios presents the photography exhibition “La Laponia española. El triángulo del frío”, a showcase that introduces the public to one of the most unique territories in Spanish geography. The exhibition is open from September 18 to October 18, 2026, at Glorieta Gabriel Miró in Orihuela. The display brings together a selection of photographs taken by Santi Palacios in the so-called “triangle of cold”, a region spanning the provinces of Teruel, Guadalajara, and Cuenca known for its freezing temperatures, dramatic landscapes, and the lifestyle of its inhabitants. Through his images, the photojournalist offers an intimate look at this area and its people, illustrating the relationship between harsh weather conditions, the natural scenery, and everyday life. His photographs document an environment shaped by the cold while highlighting the personal stories and experiences of those who call it home.
