Photojournalist Santi Palacios presents the photography exhibition “La Laponia española. El triángulo del frío”, an exhibition bringing audiences closer to one of Spain's most singular regions. The exhibition will be open from 18 September to 18 October 2026 at Glorieta Gabriel Miró in Orihuela. It brings together a curated selection of photographs taken by Santi Palacios in the area known as the “triangle of cold”, a territory situated between the provinces of Teruel, Guadalajara, and Cuenca known for its freezing temperatures, distinctive landscapes, and the lifestyle of its inhabitants. Through his imagery, the photojournalist offers an intimate look at this land and its people, illustrating the interplay between extreme climate, landscape, and daily life. His photographs capture an environment shaped by cold while spotlighting the stories and personal experiences of those who live there.
