DESCRIPTION:The patron saint festivities of La Mata will be held from 12 Se
 ptember to 7 October featuring a pilgrimage\, children's activities\, the 
 San Fermín bull-run for kids\, a paella contest\, open-air parties\, a mu
 lti-coloured parade\, religious services\, and events for the whole family
 . Highlights include the pilgrimage to Parque Eduardo Gil Rebollo\, the ch
 ildren's San Fermín encierro\, the paella competition\, the flower offeri
 ng\, the Desfile Multicolor\, traditional open-air dances\, the solemn Mas
 s\, and the procession of the Virgen del Rosario. The Patron Saint Festivi
 ties of La Mata in honour of the Virgen del Rosario will take place from 1
 2 September to 7 October 2026 with a programme combining tradition\, relig
 ious acts\, music\, gastronomy\, children's activities\, and community gat
 herings. Festivities Programme Saturday\, 12 September 12:00: "Surriagaso"
 \, the official kickoff of the festivities. Brass band\, DJ\, water fights
 \, and entertainment. Sunday\, 13 September 09:30: Departure of the pilgri
 mage from the parish church. 11:00: Outdoor mass at Parque Eduardo Gil Reb
 ollo. 17:00: Return of the pilgrimage to the parish church. Friday\, 18 Se
 ptember 21:00: "Nuestros Jóvenes Mayores" community evening.
